CapeSoft FeMail is not only a fully featured Email client, but it is also available as source code to allow you to easily add a full mail client to your application, and fully control the data stored by the mail client using the backend of your choice.

The Screenshots section shows some of the window and features that feMail provides and serves as a good introduction to feMail.

feMail is currently Beta - which means that is it is an initial release and doesn't have every single feature, bell, and whistle that it will end up with. It means that in the initial release form this documentation is not complete, new documentation for both users and programmers will be released each version.

Features

• A Full Email client, with HTML and Text mail support, viewing of HTML and text mail, and GUI HTML editing.
• Supports attachments, automatic image embedding, saving and opening of attachments etc.
• A full easy to use Address book, or plug in your own using your own data table. Groups make managing addresses easy, addresses can belong to multiple groups and can be dragged and dropped between groups, or copied to multiple groups by holding down the Control key.
• Drag and drop support throughout the application. Drag and drop folders, emails, addresses etc. Hold down the control key to create a copy rather than moved the dragged it. Drag and drop EML files from Windows Explorer directly into a feMail.
• Import mail from Outlook Express (Microsoft Outlook and Windows Mail import/export support coming soon).
• Flexible mail rules allow to to specify an action to perform on collected emails that match one or more conditions that you specify. You can use mail rules to move an incoming message to a folder other than your inbox, create multiple copies of a message, delete the message, forward or reply, forward as an attachment, mark it as read, and more.
• And much, much more!
